Teresa Dumire Honored at West Virginia Women Attorneys Conference

Charleston, WV (June 14, 2018) — Teresa J. Dumire, a member of Kay Casto & Chaney PLLC and a member of the firm’s management committee, was recently honored with the “Success Stories Award” at the West Virginia Women Attorneys Inaugural Conference held at the WVU College of Law. Dumire received the award for professional accomplishments in the legal profession, in addition to serving in an executive leadership role at the firm. Dumire was also credited for serving as an example to working parents.

In 2016, female attorneys in West Virginia recognized a need for a group within which they could mentor and elevate one another in terms of legal industry careers and work-life balance. The conference, held on June 9, 2018, was the inaugural conference of the West Virginia Women Attorneys.  Members worked to develop a three-prong mission of promoting the welfare, interests, and professional development of women attorneys; to advance the honor and integrity of the legal profession by advocating principles of fairness and equality, and to champion justice for all individuals.
