Webb joined Kay Casto & Chaney in 2008. Her primary practice areas include litigation, insurance defense, and employment law. Within insurance defense, Webb regularly reviews and analyzes insurance policies from a coverage perspective, as well as stays abreast of West Virginia statutory and common law, which impacts coverage determinations and governs claims handling. She has experience providing insurance coverage opinions for insurance companies and has successfully served as coverage counsel in declaratory judgment actions.
As an employment lawyer, Webb regularly defends West Virginia employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage payment, and wage and hour matters before the West Virginia Human Rights Commission and our state’s circuit courts. Outside of litigation, Webb counsels clients to ensure their employment practices are consistent with applicable laws, including assisting with Family and Medical Leave Act compliance, disability accommodation, disciplinary issues, performance management, wage and hour compliance, and policy implementation, review, and enforcement.
