Luci R. Wellborn is a native of Independence, Virginia and works as a contract attorney in the Charleston office in the Insurance/Litigation and Commercial Practice Groups.
Ms. Wellborn obtained her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Old Dominion University in 1987. She was an Associate Justice of the Honor Council and was a member of the Intercollegiate Debate Team with Phi Kappa Delta Honor Society. In 1990 she obtained her J.D. from Ohio Northern University, where she was an associate editor of the University's Law Review, she served on the Executive Board of the University's Moot Court, and she was also a member of the Order of Barristers. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Ms. Wellborn enjoyed being part of a 3-member team who served as staff counsel to a large insurance conglomerate in Charleston. Ms. Wellborn has more than 10 years of experience.
