Barney W. Frazier is head of the firm's Workers' Compensation Practice Group with his practice concentrated in workers' compensation. Mr. Frazier is from Man, West Virginia, and he graduated from Marshall University with an bachelor's degree in Education, with honors, in 1971. He attended Capital University Law School where he received his J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1987. He was a member of the Order of the Curia, and was a member of the Capital University Law Review. Mr. Frazier was admitted to practice in West Virginia in 1987. A former coal miner and school teacher in Wayne and Putnam Counties in West Virginia, Mr. Frazier is a member of the West Virginia State Bar Workers' Compensation Committee and the Kanawha County Bar Association. Mr. Frazier is also included in the 2009 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Workers' Compensation Law.

Mr. Frazier is a member of the WV State Chamber of Commerce Workers' Compensation Committee. He is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Manna Meals. As a member of Morris Memorial United Methodist Church, Mr. Frazier serves as an adult Sunday school teacher and as a lay delegate to the annual conference.
